EQUILIBRIO is an specialized program for the integral evaluation and treatment of eating disorders ( anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder), anxiety disorders (panic, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder) and mood disorders ( Depression, dysthimia and bipolar disorder). Some of these disorders can coexist in the same person at the same time, making the intervention and the long term prognosis more complicated. That is why this treatment approach combines different types of psychotherapy with pharmacotherapy in order to obtain clinical objectives.

The program counts with a professional team that includes psychiatrists, cognitive behavioral psychologists and nutritionists, with clinical, academic and research training and experience. The combination of diferent but complementary psychothepray methods, constitute one of the main strenghts of “EQUILIBRIO”.

The Institution is located in Bogota (Colombia), since 1.997, offering a response to the different risk groups.
